Is this guy serious?

He doesn't post the year of that MJ....... says it has an H.O. .......... Wonder if it's actually a '91 or '92?.........

Just texted him - it's an '86 with an '89 conversion. I just let him know it's not an H.O. then. Has no idea what the mileage is on the engine/trans. Sounds like this rig could be one huge mess of a project.

Yeah guys, Troy even texted me the other day to let me know there was a reply to one of my threads :shhh:. I did a double take at my phone lol.

And that whole section of cage up by the cab looks like it'd collapse if it were laid on it's back.

Looks like a mess... I wouldn't go near it.

That trailer......

Ok, so I decided to run out and take a look at that MJ.......... HOLY KEERAP that thing is one HUGE pile of junk. Rusty, rotten floors. The engine has the timing cover off and has been sitting open for who knows how long, the bolt tab is broken off the distributor but he swears it runs (he said timing cover is off because they were adjusting the timing????) The lift consists of non-xj lift coils (source unknown) and stacked isolators, mix/match shocks, and 12" long homemade strap steel rear shackles... still spring under axle.... brake lines not hooked up, track bar not bolted to the axle and held up with a zip tie, tires bald as hell.........

I totally swear, that rear tubing mess is actually made from a steel bed frame and head board......... the welds would have Flores all kinds of worked up too. The rear mounted radiator is held in place by a highway marker post welded to the tubes.

The '89 drivetrain has a full harness from an '89, but it's still cut up and modified....... and the front driveshaft is a home made one, I think it's a shortened rear shaft...... it's 4" dia. tube..... No rear shaft.

Had to walk away from it. Yikes.
