Why did it confuse you? Didn't know that Dodge made a convertible Dakota?
They were pretty unusual......
Another co-worker is a total collector of the oddball cars. He's got a ton of 'em in his parent's huge machine barn up in Conifer somewhere..... Among the collection:
One of those Dakota convertibles
His prized possession is a very nice 80's Lotus Esprit Turbo
Dodge Aries K convertible (with less than 5K miles on it)
A Delorean (orig Volvo motor is blown, got it cheap)
Several versions of the VW based, fiberglass bodied kit cars (Bricklin, Manx, MG, Mercedes, '40 Ford, something with gull-wing doors, another with a pop-up-and-forward roof like the one in Canonball run)
A couple Crosleys
A Daewoo (only because they lasted just a couple years here in the States)
An Edsel Ranger
A unibody Ford truck from the '60's
One of those Harley trikes that the DPD meter maids ran around in
Some homemade car on a '70 something sedan chassis, but a hand made body to look like a Deusenburg..... sorta kinda - pretty redneck looking really.
An old Divco(?) milk truck
And an assortment of other oddities that I can't recall at the moment....
Yeah, he's kind of a weirdo...... He lives alone, built his house - over 3500 sq ft but only one bedroom and 1 bath........ late 40's......unmarried.... :looney:
