Best of Craigslist

Uh that was the jeep i was about to buy...

That CO4x4 post is gone now, but I did see it earlier today...... that thing was kind of a POS if that really was the same one from up in Avon...... you probably lucked out not ending up with that one.

So went to the auto parts store to price out head gasket items. For EVERYTHING including bolts from autozone its 130 some odd dollars. I just wanted a valve cover gasket and that alone is 31 bucks. So Looks like it may have to be a head if i wanna just take the cover off. :tears:

Uh...... whut? :dunno:

Unless someone else has removed the valve cover and goo'd it up with sealant, you don't need to replace the gasket if all you wanna do is remove the valve cover - it's rubber with a metal core. Just use some brake clean and remove the oil from the gasket and bolt it back on - use a light layer of sealant if ya like. I haven't bought an oil pan or valve cover gasket in a long time - most cases they're completely reuseable.

Not a CL ad, but found it kinda phunnay all the same........

This guy is selling/parting out this rig because he's going to a buggy..... Isn't that pretty much what he has now? :dunno: I mean, yeah, that POS probably can't flex or climb for shit, so I totally understand where he's coming from..... I'm sure a buggy will be night & day different......:D

(Love the plexi-hood!)

XJ on 52's and you're gonna die laughing....

52's on a D30....... that's gotta be some kinda XJ stupidity record right?

Can you imagine the stresses to the steering arms, unit bearings, steering box and the unibody where it mounts? I'm betting he can't steer it unless it's rolling.....
