So...by straight axle conversion, is he talking about the wooden 4X4 that thing is resting on?

Indeed. Bolt a couple wheels on the ends, some rope up through the dash for steering, pivot point on the front crossmember and you're up and running!

Mr. Flintstone would be proud!

Are the two extra blocks in back comfy support for a riders buttcheeks?

Sending an E-mail on it.

4.56 are good for 33's right? wonder if they would be TERRIBLE for 31's until I needed new tires in a year or so?

I could always just keep stock under until then.

I run 33" tires with 4.56 gears. Seems to do pretty well on the highway and offroad.

4.56s would be fine with 33's although i don't find much bad about 3.55's and 33's :D. As long as you have the right speedo gear you will be golden.

Actually, the crossmember/drop bracket set is well worth the money - the control arms are the problem. That goofy bracket across the top of the axle is "fluff".

I'm actually hoping my buddy is able to snag it.

That looks like a bitchin MJ!! I am not a huge fan of the older body styles but I am definitely drooling over the new body style.. I've never seen it.

LOL! Uh, you DO realize that this particular MJ is a total custom right? They never made the MJ with the newer body style, so saying you're not a fan of the older body style is odd..... the MJ was around '84-'92 - the old body style.

Ok then.. I dont like the MJ! Haha Sorry I am not as Jeep savvy as you there Troy ;)
