Thing has potential. If you want to put $10,000 into a old beat up XJ.

Curiosity got the best of me and I went to look at the disco / XJ.......

As feared, the uni body has been severely compromised and the new top is the equivalent of an aluminum truck bed topper. It's all tack welded together too.

The worst part is he cut away the top part of the roof that make up rhe sills around the doors so the doors don't seal up to any part of the new top.

Wouldn't last it's first expedition trip without folding like a taco.

Gotta admire the quality and detail, but I have to imagine flexing that thing on more than a tall curb and he's risking lots of cracked filler where the bed meets the body/cab.

Interesting how he joined the large MJ rear wheel wells with the smaller XJ's. Left a large flat panel between the two. And that he didn't fill in the XJ rear foot wells.
