The corral in Long Beach WA. We eat there at least two times in a weekyend when we are there during RodRun. I guess its hard to miss when your there sitting acrossed the street from it lol
Yep..I agree was there sat night. They have good shakes also.
Also the Pick Quick in Fife ,It`s closed Dec and Jan but should be reopening soon.
Nice pics!
I always liked the french dip or chinook burgers at Buzzy's in Greenwater before he closed and the burgers at the Carbonado Saloon. Good schtuff!
There are sooo many great mom & pop burger joints all over the place, it's really hard to choose a single place though.
Agree^, plus they have bomb milkshakes.Maui Wowie Burger from Jett Burger Cafe' in Camas Wa.
THIS!For me I'd say its a toss up between Miners in Yakima or Wallys in Buckley.
If your in Beaverton/Tigard
Georges Giant Burgers on 99. Great burgers. They are homemade ground beef patties.. and you get to put your own condiements on.. very very good.
very very good. Really good..
No way! Fantastic news :chef:Did you know that they're building a new Pick Quick in Auburn? It's on Auburn Way N next to where Skippers used to be, near Fred Meyer.
Did Buzzy's close? I thought he just moved across the street, next to the Chevron? And Carbonado Saloon is good too, friend's cousin owns the place.
Yeah, he closed for good. I used to eat breakfast with Buzzy when I worked at Crystal. He retired from many years of operating out of that neat little shack next to the Naches tavern, but there were sooo many friends and loyal customers that begged him to come back that he re-opened in the restaurant building next to the gas station/general store. I think he did a pretty good business there, but he decided his time had come and closed it for good. It's too bad, because he cooked some great food!
As for the Carbonado Saloon, I haven't eaten there in a couple years because it seemed like they were under a remodel or something for the longest time, but I remember getting a burger that would kill the average man and boy, was it good! I recently saw that they are open again, so I am looking forward to eating there again when I return to Washington.
