Best AT tires for $$$

Hankook dynapro atm rf10 are good snow and ice and daily driving tire I'm just not 100 percent sure of how good they are on the trail for a Wheeling application as compared to scenic driving

maybe a stupid thought but why not do a little trimming and put 33" on it so your not kicking yourself in 6 months and have already blown the $750.00... if you do average off-roading the 33's make quite a bit of difference over the 31's your thinking of going with. just a thought..

Anyone know who has the best price on duratracks in the springs?

Fwiw....the 33's retail about 10/tire more than 31's.
paid almost full retail on the ones for my sisters rig. with install and everything was high 800's(yeooouuuuuch) They used to be about 700 total but prices have spiked over past 2 years. I remember paying 600 for a set of 35" mtr a few years back.....sucks.

trust me 33's are on my brain. I don't want to regear right now and I have stock 3.55's so I don't want to go over 31's for sake of keeping it driveable on the highway mountain passes.

Might as well get the cheap sailun tires. The falken tires are super stiff, and they dont clean out for crap. It acts like an all season not an all terrain

I have had great success with Firestone Destination A/T's on and off road, on all my Jeeps. Although they are not a very aggressive tire, they seem to work well on snow & ice, and moderate off roading. Road noise is minimal, too. My daughter has Hankook Dynapro ATM's on her Jeep and loves them.

30 days to shop for tires ,??

you make big purchases uninformed? I shopped 2 months fror tires on my wife's DD limited.

Hankook Dynapro ATMs is what we ended up with.

Wheeled in Harlan @ the crawl, drives it everyday.
They are surprisingly quiet. Wet traction is outstanding.
Trail traction is OK, I'm sure if we encountered mud they would not perform well, but I didn't buy them for mud.

They've got about 5K miles on them and still look new, no appreciable tread wear.

Here they be on the DD racecar Jeep. 245/75R16's on an upcountry.

my wife drove all day and didn't get us stuck. I'm told she even lifted tires.
