Best AT tires for $$$

Ok, I realize I am probably opening Pandora's box here, but that never scared me before.:firedevil
I've been wrenching on my 99 XJ for a few months and almost ready to buy tires. I have RE 3.5 superflex lift and plan to run 31x10.50x15 tires.
I need a good all around AT, but I want something with an agressive look. Something that is decent on ice, snow and will ride / wear well on the highway but keep me out of trouble on the trail, seems realistic I think?

Here is the bad part, my budget is about $750 and that needs to include install, mount and balance.

What do you guys run? Any tire you tried and did NOT like?

Thet still work ,aren't noisy and outlast those noisy bastiges your pimping Plus they have 3 ply sidewalls

Bridgestone Dueler's for a mostly street application.

This all could be so. I am basing my opinion on my experience. And my experience is I have had BFG's on my jeep since May 2007. 30,000 miles later they still have about 50% tread and have even taken a 3in deck screw without a leak.

I have loved my BFG AT's over the years (probably had 3 sets on 4 different rigs), and they do have great tread-life, but they are indeed a very old style/tech, and they definitely suffer from dry-rot issues, though I have never had an adverse affect from them.

Love my current duratracs, FWIW.

You want treadlife get GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor tires, on my Silverado they lasted just over 100,000 miles. My father in law got 90,000 out of them on his F250 diesel.

I've personally never been a fan of the BFG A/T, despite me overall prefering the BFG Tires.

On trucks that are looking for a good all around use tire I always recommend the Wrangler Silent Armors, they have excellent tread life and work great all year long for traction. Quiet operation on the street, available in D and E load ratings, not overly expensive, and good traction in any weather.

The Bridgestone Dueler A/T revo's performed great on my 2wd S-10. I'm not sure if they were the Revo2 or not as this was back in 2003. They did great all year long as well and barely showed any wear after a year of use, I sold the truck at that point so I can't say how long they actually lasted me. That said, I put over 20,000 miles on them that year.

Before I started lifting mine, I had the Dueler A/T Revo's and loved them. Now my rig is still a DD but I run 33" Duratracs.

Love my Duratracs. Sidewalls not real strong so I cannot air down super low, but I drive mostly street. Was really impressed with them when snow wheeling. No chains or lockers and I got through some surprising stuff.

My vote for Dtracks. Second set, 1st one was in a 235 flavor. Great traction in the winter, aggressive enough looks without all of the road noise. Plenty durable for most trails.
