Actually it's not. I picked it up yesterday morning and immediately went and ran Slaughterhouse Gulch since it's relatively close. It's a bit easier than I remember from last year. I ended up letting my wife drive the entire thing while I was riding with my buddy in his beater '81 Scrambler.

Anyways, we headed up to MSV/Coney Flats today before the snow covers everything up. Great day on the trail. We were all alone most of the way until we caught up to the tail of a group that had a flat.

So, I've been talking about the XJ here for the past week. I finally picked it up and wanted to post some pictures, so here she is...

Very nice looking rig man! Going to try attempt number 2 of Red Elephant in the very near future if your interested, that would be a great trail to test out the new rig on.

Now that DOES look nice!!! The CL pictures couldn't do it justice.

Yeah, thanks. I was pleasantly surprised once I saw it in person. The CL photos did suck. It's pretty clean. Now I have to figure out what to do first. I've got to get a new front driver's seat ASAP. Something in the frame or bolster bracket is busted and I've got some severe gangster lean going on. It killed me sitting in it for almost 8 hours yesterday.

I believe the track-bar needs to be adjusted. The front axle seems to not be centered. I'd like to find some 16" Moabs to put on it, but that will require new tires right away. I may go for a long arm upgrade to tame it a bit on the street. It's on stock arms as of now. I'd also like to go for a new front bumper at least and Surco basket with spare up top, currently have stock spare in the rear.
