I made a special trip up to Noblesville just to go play at Beavers, and they have it gated up with "NO TRESPASSING" signs up all over! Damnit! now where do I go for some local off roading?

At least you have the Badlands closer to you.
Take that for granted, I have a 2.5/3 hour drive to the Badlands.
The Badlands is the closest ORV park for me.

maybe you should find out what happened and see what can be done about it?
was it a pay to run place or just a wheeling spot that been used for it for years?
maybe the guy was tired of junk being left all over, if so get a couple guys to volunteer on weekends to clean up or something?? people are usually reasonable if the land is just sitting there and they dont care. maybe the county got compaints and told him to close it up. if so maybe you can get special privies to it?

No, but seriously that sucks.
If I could I would move out west to the Sierra Nevadas Lake Tahoe or Reno Area. Tons of wheeling in every direction just minutes or an hour away.
But in the mean while I will take what I have for granted.

never heard of Beaver's before. my 'guess' is that it was not a 100% legal area to wheel at in the first place.....but maybe that's just the vibe I get from threads like this....
I'm a bit luckier (I think) than 87manche because the Mounds in Michigan is "only" 2.5 hrs. away. My trip up to the West Branch area (you may have heard of the Sno*Blind event there) takes another 1-1.5 hrs. on top of the 2.5 to the Mounds. It's nice when I can combine them, though. Mounds on the way up, West Branch, and the Mounds on the way home.

I used to wheel at some property everybody called "Beaver" outside of Fishers, IN. It was located on a road called river rd. It was a pretty badass piece of property. Is this the place that you are talking about? If so, that really sucks!
