Has anyone ever heard of this or used one? And if the $100 I paid for it, is worth it. It seems pretty beefy but I haven't ever heard it this brand. And I have search here for it but didn't come up with any results. Thanks for any in put.

BDS makes great stuff, except there track sucks because it uses a tierod end like the stock one. I think the make the best long arm kit out there! I'm running there kit except with my one trac bar and bracket.

You cant beat the life time warranty ether!

What is wrong with a TRE? I dunno about the BDS unit. But the ironman4x4fab bolt-in track bar uses a tie rod and is adjustable WHILE BOLTED IN, and the thing is pure BEEF!

The BDS trackbar I purchased did not have a tierod end at the frame. It had a heim joint with the proper taper for the frame end. It kinda reminded of a flex joint form rubicon express, because you can rebuild it.

But anyways it is a great product.

tie rod end = single shear mounting.
any other rod end is pretty much double shear.
double shear is better, im sorry if your buddy ironman doesnt agree. theres a market and a place for both types.

as far as BDS, i ran around this site for a year before i ever heard of them, theyre not very popular, but everyone who runs their stuff loves it, the warranty is supposedly really good too.

'bds' is 3 characters, naxja requires at least 4 as a search string, maybe try searching bds* or 'bds'.

BDS has a new trackbar out that's 1" thick. Their old t-bar was .75" or so, very thin (thread part) and had a tendency to break. My buddy used it on his 3" lift and snapped it on the trails. What a pain that was.

Make sure it's the upgraded 1" threaded rod.

The company also makes one that is a double sheer mount. But for the price and the fact that you can adjust while its bolted in makes it easier for many people.

thats cool, and theres a trackbar for everyone! i prefer double shear. i can also disconnect the trackbar to adjust it. the aftermarket ones come disconnected a lot easier than stock, AND you dont have to even lift the truck up.... i do not understand how this is a selling point worth mentioning in capitols....

Mine has the 1" threaded end on it. Hope it lasts, thanks for the input.

Anybody have a link to the BDS double sheer track bar? Also the Iron Man uses a double sheer bracket bolt attachment through the stock track bar mounting hole. Will that bolt through the hole loosen & start to cause sloppiness over time?

Your welcome......
What if you don't use the drop pitman arm? I have the track bar on now, and haven't noticed any problems yet. Is there some thing I need to watch out for. I'm kinda new to the xj and offroad stuff.
