That long tube with all its dog legs looks intimidating to put in but it's rather easy. Lay the tube on the ground on the left side, under the front axle with the rear of the tube facing aft. Feed the tube up and aft, snaking it through the left rail pocket (home of the fuel line, brake line, and Evap tubes). You'll get the hang of it once you figure it out. Just don't get in a Chinese Handcuff situation where you are trying so hard you get hung up. :-)

You'll need metric and SAE flare nut wrenches to deal with the tube flare nut situation at the proportioning valve.

You may need the hose assembly that connects to that tube assembly and bolts to the top of the left rear axle tube with a vent bolt. You can get the hose assembly at o'reilly, advance, or the other carpet bagger stores. Don't lose that vent bolt!
 
Sidewinder I did everything as you suggested w right gauge crimp and all, and jeep won't start. So I put back what got it started before and the gauges started working again and it started up again but now it doesn't sound good like it did before and airbag light is on it wAsnt before.

And no bus showed again while it was running.
 
So I used 12 gauge crimp it and grounded. She sounds good. I did an oil change and check engine light went away. Next week I ll do brake line and see if brake light goes away. I checked to see if ia/c and heater works, they do.

I'm having a shitty time getting that rusted bolt out to remove brake line. I broke off line to have better access but think it's so corroded that it has shrunk! What size wrench am i supposed to use, i thought it was a 10mm and that does not work at all, too big. I been trying to use a socket wrench 9mm and that's too small. Any suggestions?

The flare nut at the rear of the tube takes a 3/8" flare nut wrench.

Edit: The front end of the tube goes Metric on you. The tube nut is 12 MM, the coupling it attaches to is 13 MM, and the nut that attaches that little dog leg tube to the proportioning valve is 14 MM.

Ok so I used a 3/8 flare wrench it doesn't grab to it. So I'm using a 3/8 socket which is the only thing that grabs to it and nothing! Yes I'm having fun but I ll have more fun if I could get that off! Do I have to disconnect the plastic line that goes to axle for this?

Now I'm confused about what you are trying to get off. Could you take a pic of it?
