They're right at home in dirt and mud.:D 2WD with the Claws is better than 4wd with my Hoodyear Stranglers.!!!1

My ´98 XJ has a 33/12.5 15R and I love them. Somewhat noisy at very low speeds but off-road they are excellent. I have a RE 4,5 lift and had to do 'some extensive trimming' to the car.

As Slo-Sho said, they feel at home in the mud, I off-road every weekend and the next tyre I´ll buy will probably be the same but in 35".

my buddy has them on his toyota. they do great offroad.. only thing i dont like about them is that they are a directional tread tire

I have 31 inch claws on my 92. They are great off road in mud, but they are noisy on road and give a very bumpy ride at 25mph or less. If you mainly use your xj for trails get them. If you daily drive they might not be that good because they definitley do not wear to well on the street. I have had mine for about 1.5 years and the tread is about 1/3 gone.
