FatCity made the pass at Mile 83 for 1st place leaving Coan in 2nd Place. Mike Shaffer/Pirate is down at Mile 55.

Update: Coan is in 1st place @ MM135 with about a 5 mile lead on FatCity. Shaffer seems to be on the move and limping the jeep along at MM 62.

Looks like Shaffer may have called it a quits

Looks like Shaffer is out with a tranny problems and Coan is also out with engine trouble.

Fat City might be down near Check Point 7 where the course parallels the highway to Loreto. Just needs to finish to take the win.

1701 car of Dust Junkies and Fat City crossed the finish line for the win around 12:40 am. Congrats to Dan Turner and Eric Filar and the rest of the team for a 2nd straight Baja 1000 finish and win!!
