bacon....

I never thought the day would come hat I thought Aaron would have anything to say, let alone anything sig worthy..today my friend, you have made big strides.

Had the monthly poker game Saturday night. It's typical for us to order up some pizza. Since Pete's a slut has stopped the $10 large specialty, we opted for the $10 large 3-topping. One of them was chicken, bacon and onion. Let the mouth watering ensue...
 
Today for lunch was Subway again..(no real options in this little town, and I always try and eat fresh :D) so I had the buffalo chicken foot long sammich w/ bacon, onions and jalapenos...topped with extra buffalo sauce (the owner like me and got it from the back just special for me!) and added some ranch o it.mmmmmmmm, I have my new favorite sammich. Anyone see the TUMS?
 
Grilled Bacon and Cheese sandwich... Used Kraft Cheddar and Bacon instead of the local bacon cheese.... Big mistake... Nothing beats this local stuff...

went to pick up the boys at my moms today, walked in to the smell of bacon and before i could get through the door she said i was just in time for some BLT's
had to put extra bacon on mine but damn they were good thick cut bacon and home grown tomatoes

Did one thing good and one thing bad on a bacon explosion tonight.

The good:
Instead of spreading out the sausage smooth, I crumbled it up on top of the bacon weave. It allowed the BBQ sauce to spread throughout the suasage, and didn't spill out when I rolled it up.

The bad:
Put an extra layer of bacon on the inside of the weave. It didn't allow the grease to escape the explosion, and made for an interesting time cooking it. Got hot on the inside really quickly. Only took about an hour to cook. Still tasted alright, but not as good as slow cooking it.
 
I left precooked bacon strips on the wipers of Brads truck and Jeep before I left Hannibal this morning....it was like a calling card of sorts :pig:

Ha you got the jeep too? Nice! I almost pissed myself when I saw the bacon on the truck though.
 
dont let it get lost.
i started school a few weeks ago and have a bacon cheese burger from the caff. every time. its 375 and SUCKS. omg i get so upset.

my gf bought this cheap little thing that makes bacon in the microwave but that SUCKS to. i need real bacon!
 
I had some B&E for dinner a little while ago. The eggs were fried in the bacon grease. Is there any other way?
 
the hotle I am staying in this week inly has heat-n-eat style bacon...no flavor and like eating paper. I am gonna tear up some good B&E and some hashbrowns when I get home...of course after I am done tearing up wifey! :D
