Why so much tubing in the back? Unless you roll backwards off of a cliff (and land on the rear) the back doesn't usually get the most damage, the front and middle do.

Wouldn't it be nice to have air (nothing) in the upper rear when sliding past certain rock obstacles?

I'm sure you have goals for this project, would help to understand what you're going for.
 
The rear compliments the Center support braces for the exo cage. The front will be redone at a later time. The front will be stretched a little bit as well..
