Sorry if this is the wrong section for this, wasnt too sure. Im trying to help my brother find a tj. Hes looking at one at a dealership near Fort Riley where hes stationed. The ad says its got a d60 rear but the owner says hes not positive. Can anyone confirm or deny this for me? Thanks.

Tell your buddy he has a better chance of getting a fair deal on craigslist or somewhere else. Car dealerships close to military bases are notorious for screwing GI's buying cars.

He found it on craigslist. Its a 2000 with 80k with an unknown 65. longarm kit d44/8.8(thanks), 35's. Overall its a pretty nice tj, hes asking 11,900 but I think my brother is going to talk him down a little now since its not a 60. He already has 3 cars so I know he isnt going to buy it if hes not 100% happy with it. Anyway someone asked me for a pic of the front end so here it is. Thanks again for the clarification guys.

granted I can't see the whole vehicle, but there are not many 2000's that I would pay $11,900 for... heck even 1/2 that would be a lot for a rather medium built rig.

it would seem this dealer is thinking "it's custom, it's worth BIG $$$"

Just out of curiosity, which dealer is it at?

That's about the only newer Jeep I'd consider replacing my XJ with. I've always liked the TJ Unlimiteds.
