I just talked to tri country and they said that the outers are 30 in the D50 and ARB made the 35 spline locker for them on a specialty deal and there are only three made EVER LOL. I guess I am going to try and sweet talk ARB into it.
Did you talk to Jason? He gave me a completely different story.
I actually might agree a little with Crash. ARB was who sent me to Tri Country. If he isn't doing them in his shop I bet the cost would be what you would save by doing a 50 over the 60.
Another question is can I find a center chunk out of a 60 and have my parts put on it or would that be more expensive than just buying a whole 60? I am open to suggestion.
Not worth it, buy a 60. The balljoint outers and unit bearings make it more difficult to find desiable after market parts, and you'd still have to have the spindles bored to 1.6 to fit 35 spline outers.
Also a step would need to be cut for a spindle bearing if you plan on running lockouts.
I'm still leaning towards using the super duty stuff on a 9" housing. I like the short stub length and the super duty style knuckles aren't as massive which should make it easier to hold the width down while running the stock coils.
