Last night I pulled apart my AW4 to determine why it was not generating oil pressure...turns out the gear inside the oil pump assy had shattered into about 7 pieces. Rather than replace the gear and take my chances, I'm looking for a good complete used oil pump assy. Not sure if it matters but my AW4 is from an 87 XJ w/ 4.0L and NP242. Also, I'm located in Endicott, NY. Lemme know if you have something.
