Aurora-Stolen Cherokee!!!

One of my buds has been in the pokey since late July. Tonight, his 1990 cherokee was stolen from his mom's house near Sable and 29th in Aurora. Please keep an eye out!

Specs: 1990 Cherokee Limited, four doors, dark blue with silver doors, Colorado plate # 635 VBF.

The Jeep has been lifted, has sliders, custom built bumpers front and back. Has winch up front, tire carrier on the back. Currently has stock size tires and wheels. If spotted, please call the police.

Sucks for your buddy Mike....... But dayum that's gotta be one of the stupidest crooks around. Of all the Cherokees to steal, they take such a visually "unique" Cherokee.....

Although..... The trend lately has bee to steal vehicles with bumpers/armor to use in smash-and-grab burglaries and leave the vehicle on scene or near by afterwards..... So in that regard it does fit the bill.

24 hrs later, the Jeep can't be reported stolen, until she can get his (written) permission to do as much. The police want to be sure he did not give someone permission to use it.

One of the neighbors saw the guy who took it. He had time to open the Jeep, crank it over, and pop the hood to get it started.

For us wheelers, the sight of a lifted and modified XJ running stock size wheels will be like painting it red and yellow.

And in Saudi Aurora, all it needs is spinnerzzzzzzzzzzz!
