how exactly IS it pronounced? Is it N-A-X-J-A? Or is it nacksjuh? I've never actually heard anyone pronounce it. :dunce:

Well I had to ask. If I didn't otherwise know, maybe I would pronounce U.S.A. as yoosa, or BOR as bore, or WTF as witif, or MOAB as Mowab.

Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
 
i guess it's like the english language. i pitty people that have to learn english as a second language.

tomb & comb -- spelled the same, sound different
there are tons more, but i'll leave that skit to gallager (?sp?)

Yeah, kinda like Coors beer. You may pronounce it coors where you are, here it's kerrs. And Dr. Pepper?????? It's pronounced Coke here. "What do you want to drink?" "Coke please." "What kind?" "Dr. Pepper."

It must be a southern thing 'cause when I lived in Fla I was a bar tender for a while and it took me a while to learn to ask what kind of Coke they wanted.
