Arrrggghhh fuggin torx....

Specifically the t50's on the track bar and that hold the roll cage in...the accessable ones came out easy, the two hard to get at mothers won't...
Time to bring out the 1/2 milwalkee and some drill bits I think...

Yea, the TJ has one down on the axle, T50, what a sob that was.... we're both bleeding....but got it out. Now comes the bases of the roll bar.... no torx going back in there either. Think I'll just take all the new bolts and throw them in the antiseize bottle and shake... :laugh3:

I replaced the axle side trac-bar bolt on mine when I installed the adjustable. Replaced with a dealer unit for a '96XJ. Not only did it have a torx head it was about a half inch too long.

I made it work though.

good times - i installed a buddy's safari lights on his TJ and taking all them torx off was anoying as hell...
