Are these flat top knuckles?

I had been talking with a guy who said he had some flat top knuckles (pair), and I finally went to pick them up tonight. When he handed them to me, they are flat on top, but I asked him if they were flat top knuckles because they didn't have very much meat to them to be machined, drilled and tapped, and he said they were.

I checked this website because I still felt they weren't actual flat tops: http://77cj.littlekeylime.com/flatop_knucles.html

Here are some pictures. The left is the drivers side, and the right the passenger side. The top of the knuckle that would get machined, drilled and tapped is about 1" thick.

Can I get confirmation so I know what to do with these?

Definitely NOT chevy flattops. Possibly ford f250. Id pass on them. imo.

It's a Ford flat top, 5 bolt spindle pattern gives it away. And I'd guess F250 just because the 1/2 ton flat tops are very hard to come by. Also, IIRC, the 1/2 tons are notched to clear the single piston caliper, which I don't see here. If you are gonna run 8 lug outers, then keep them. If you are looking at 5 or 6 lug, these will not work for you.
