Anyone want a Basset Hound?

This use to be my dog till i got divorced and my kids mom took her. She was living with my kids grandparents and they just lost their home. They cant take her with and they were gonna take her to the pound. She's 5 years old and is fixed and has all her shots. I think she may even have a chip but unsure. Ill have to look into this. She is very loving and likes lots of attention. plays well with other dogs of same size.

Found a home for the dog. A member referred me to someone who wanted her. I sure will miss her.

Looks exactly like my old dog!!! I wish I could've taken it but the Condos I live in require a 1000 dollar deposit for any animal. :/

Kudos to you for taking the right approach and getting her placed. I volunteer with Basset rescue here in Wyoming. Like any breed there are some pretty sick stories. If you ever come through here let me know, you've got a beer waiting.

I don't have a Basset right now but my family raised them for years and I owned a male until three years ago when I had to put him down...Great dogs. We currently have three rescues, one blue heeler mix and two beagles.

Wyoming Basset Rescue has twelve bassets right now in the rescue program and more getting dumped daily. The economy has people getting rid of their toys and their dogs. Kind of sucks to hear what some of these dogs have been through.
