Snows around the corner, and I scored a set of sleds. Where do you go? Saw some trails around salida and Buena vista, but thought I'd see if anyone had suggestions.
Anyone snowmobiling this year?

I'm not a snowmobiler, but I have seen them at the North Sand Hills north of Walden. It is also a good time of year to see Moose there.

You might want to get ahold of Jon Jacobs. He was big into sledding a few years back. Led probably has his phone.

Never been sledding in Colorado. Or in SoCal for that matter. But I keep a sled at my brother's place near Chicago and we trailer our sleds from there up to Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin, every January and sled around there and in the U.P. Been doing that for the past decade or so. Always have a blast. Not helpful to the discussion, but thought I'd chime in anyway.

I go up smithfork or saddle mountain. Its a good drive from you but you can ride for days.
