naw thw welder left before we had a chance to this am. I am gonna buy me an axle truss. who wants to help install it.

does that mean someone has it, or did it disapear? Either way, it was also falling apart on me and didnt like to fold up easily. if you have it, you can keep it to replace your beach chair I have another at home anyways.

As for the railroad spike reinforcement, you may want to specify that it is a spike and not a tie. It would look rather funny to strap a piece of wood larger than your axle to your axle to repair it.
