I recently got a Garmin Legend HCX for geocaching and to use to track while mountain biking.

I've browsed through a couple of websights for uploading your tracks. I basically just wanted a place to put them up and kind of create maps for myself. Looking at motionbased.com and singletracks.com

I'm using a mac if that matters. But either way I'm not doing so well with getting my track uploaded!! Anyone have experiences with these sights? or something else I should be using? MB seems to be real busy or something, its always coming up that the page cant be found. And with singletracks I have no clue (yet) how to get tracks off my GPS onto my computer as a GPX or whichever file it needs to be to upload to their sight.

Been messing around with this for too long, figured I try asking now hehe!

I have GPS but don't use it for the endurance stuff I do for no other reason than it's more......interesting to get lost some times. Go over to www.bikepacking.net. A lot of those guys either use it or will be able to steer you in the right direction. Seek out the guy that started the site. His name is Scott Morris. He's very savvy with GPS and software programs in general for GPS. He'll be able to help you.

Scott's username over there is ScottM.
