Back to the topic, Austin is easier to fly in and out of to get to Waco, you can actually fly into Killeen now, it makes it a bit closer, less rentals, so... The 28th sounds cool, I like Crickets, how bout you xjintx? They have good beer.

Northeast of the city (Waco).

I was at work (down town Waco) when it burned.....saw the flames and smoke from our second floor work area.

I agree......Waco is no better or worse than a lot of other citys.
Besides I've been tired of hearing the story told for quite some time now.
Seems it will never die..........!!!1
Waco is not that bad.... just not to much to do here. Most of the folks go out of town for fun activities.

yep between waco and mart actually. i lived one mile from the davidians when i was a kid. it was peaceful back then. i cut their fence and rode my 4-wheeler all over their land!!! my dad installed the phones their before they tore down and rebuilt!-----BRIAN

When I was working these were the best in Waco .... all the guys I worked with including me got BBQ from these two places.

Alright I'll be there in a little over a week, lets see what we can plan.

Arriving Dallas/Love Field on Tuesday the 28th at 3:10pm. Have a hotel room booked in Waco.
On Wednesday the 29th I'll be at Baylor from 9am to about 2pm
Leaving Dallas on Thursday the 30th at 12:30pm

I'm down to do dinner either night with some folks. I don't know Dallas or Waco well enough to plan something, but let me know when/where and I'll be there.
