Anyone have access to parts interchange for new GM?

My wife has an '03 GMC Envoy 4x4 with the inline 6. We've never been real happy with the extra soft ride. It's worse now with 30K on the suspension so I am looking to upgrade.

Anyone know if the new '06 Trailblazer SS shocks, struts, front coils are a swap? I wonder if there's a parts interchange listing for this swap? I think her Envoy would drive SO much better with heavier springs and maybe even the sway bars from the SS if they swap as well.

There's a guy parting out an SS on e-bay, waiting to hear if he's got the suspension parts, but would like to know for certain before buying.

Thanks in advance!

I believe they do swap but I will check with my brother and get back with you.

Here's the strange thing..... I've called all over the place and NO ONE shows a listing for replacement struts for the damn thing other than Monroe.

I'm also not sure that just doing the shocks is gonna get the job done. If you've ever driven one of these Trailblazers/Envoys you'll instantly see what I'm talking about. Cornering makes you wonder if there is ANY swaybars on the thing. The sway bar up front is made from hollow tube - no kidding - it's pinched at the ends where the links bolt to it.

I hit up a forum for TB/Envoy enthusiasts and so far, everything appears to be a direct sway except for the rear springs - some kind of air suspension on the TB SS. But I figure that the springs up front along with the stiffer sway bar the SS has should do the trick.

Personally, I'd love to just trade it in on a TB SS, but I hate to think of having to feed it. The Envoy gets crappy enough mileage - 16.5 on average so I gotta figure that the LS1 is worse.
