Anyone going to the US Nationals this weekend?

I haven't been there in YEARS, thinking about checking it out this weekend. I've been looking for discount ticket's but so far nothing, used to be every event had some kind of coupon at their sponsors place of business. Things have changed, a lot of the drivers are second generation, gonna feel old. TC

are you talking about NHRA? my answer is no,BUT i would love to, 'cept i'm going wheeling all weekend. i usually go to the Chicago race and it rocks. drag racing is my favorite racing . especially when you go to the event. you can go in the pits no extra charge, roam around and then sit wherever you want, go out to your car and have an adult beverage, all kinds of freedom. plus nothing and i mean nothing beats being in the pits when they fire up a nitro-methane car, freaking awesome. i went down to Daytona for the speed weeks during the 500 and it does not compare to nitro cars, at NHRA event. the noise and the vibration, and horsepower are undescribable unless you are there!! as you can tell, i highly recommend it.

Yep, ya really have to go to a national event once, zero to 330 mph in under 5 seconds is indescribable. Hope the weather holds out. TC
