Anybody have a tube notcher?

Use a whole saw bit :dunce: . No really you can use a grinder or something. You wont have a ton of tube to notch. Just use a grinder or a saw or soemthing. The tubing notcher is nice and all, but you might make it work other ways.

It's closer than URF! :D What do you have that's close to 2 inch? That would be the size that I'd need the most (I believe).

I've got what you need if you get desperate. I've got from 1" to 3.5" in 1/4" increments.

Sounds like a plan CRASH. Maybe you could give me a hand welding in my tube adapters for my steering while I'm up there (not real confident yet on the small round surface). Are you available in the evening any day this week, or this saturday/sunday?
Thanks!

Next weekend sometime. Maybe Sunday?

Got to finish my tow rig engine rebuild, which will likely happen tomorrow (Monday)

jason R has a 2" notcher.....

OK as long is it won't take too long.

Do you want me to weld as well?

What sizes are we doing? I want to check the condition of those bits.

(4) @ 1.75"
(2) @ 1.25"
(2) @ 2.5"

And we don't need to weld... the only thing I was thinking of was a few tube adapters, but it's all good. What time would be good for me to come up?

You can use a chop saw to notch too.

With 'I' Being the saw blade, and '/' being the tubing....

I/ Cut straight through the tube, with the tube on an angle and it will cut a good fishmouth. Just so it in small increments so you don't make the notches too big.
