Hey all, I was wondering if anyone on here is in the El Centro area that either works on cars or knows someone who does for cheap? My gf's sister was coming home from drill, to Phoenix from San Diego, and her car basically broke down. Last we talked to her, she was almost to her friend's house in El Centro. I'm not sure what exactly is messed up, from the sounds of it I'm assuming a front wheel bearing or something. She said it sounds like she's consistently driving on the rumble strips or similar. She doesn't have alot of money, but I'm sure she can buy the parts she needs and maybe a few bucks to fix it. If more is needed, let me know and I'll try to cover it through paypal or something. I just want to get her ride fixed so she can get home. I'd really appreciate any help from the fellow XJ'ers that may know someone in the area.
