Another KY park

been there, not recommended.
Trails are ATV size
trails are not maintained and required many stops, and moving trees that were at fender height out of the trail.
No trail maps
No trail markings
$20 to get in.

give them some time, it's good terrain, just not ready for Jeeps.

I officially motion that Carnagefest be held in KY this year.

Slade or Harlan or ...

x2

Has the potential to be Flat Nasty, just not organized that way. Some local club involvement and cleanup would go a long way at that place. It seemed to us that they dove in too soon with trails that just weren't ready.

Harlan is pretty far east in KY, no? I'd be willing to check out Slade.

Maybe they could use some MWC help.
a day spent mapping trails with a GPS would do a whole lot of good, as well as general trail cleanup.
the terrain was awesome, but trails sucked.
I've got the guys card, if there's interest I'd be in.

5 1/2 hours for me.

We can make it worth your while. I'm shure we can come up with an armadillo.

Promises promises.....

Hey guys, I've been there once my self. (Bigrock in Maysville) .. busted my sway bar .... but had a hootinany of a good time doing it !!!!! It does need some work but the local (50mile from park) off road store Performance Off Road , (GREAT GUYS .... WOULD RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE !!) is trying to get more work done. They used to be involved with that old one that I guess got closed down .( not sure of the name) . Anyway, I can put a word in with the guys ... who would I tell them to contact? If someone already has .... I'll butt out . I think the place has alot of potential if it was guided the right way !!!!

I'll agree with that statement.
They've got the property and the terrain to be really cool, they just don't understand what it takes to have Jeeps on the trails.
If an ATV get's stuck by something they drive around it or turn around, that's not somehing I can do on a narrow trail in a 22ft truck.
some more trail work and some trail markings/difficulties would go a long way
