Alternative color scheme?

Can we get different options for color schemes? The pink/grey is about the ugliest I've ever seen on a forum

It used to be a choice - blue and white or this. Then they did away with the blue and white deal and left this as the only option. It seemed the majority of users hated it, but it stayed anyhow haha.

I want plaid.

Why not just add all the options available in the forum software? Does anyone actually like this pink and grey? The worst is the fade from pink to grey on the option bars!!

Any minor change to the forum that is made manually must be made to each color scheme in order for it to work right. That is alot of work for our volunteers and we have bigger fish to fry right now. Besides, I like the Red and Gray.

Maybe you could become a supporting member of this site... and then start making requests :dunno:

Most forums and websites are designed to look good, so the idea that I want non-ugly schemes for my own benefit is ridiculous. Also, AFAIK the package the forum is built on comes with several color sets.

If I can volunteer to make better schemes, where do I sign up?

as stated above, the vbulletin software we use to run this forum has been modified to work best for us. only having to change one colorscheme instead of 3 or 4 each time something is changed is much easier on the folks that donate thier free time without pay to make sure this information database is here for you to use freely, and walk in and start complaining about.

do you walk into your friends' houses and start bitching about the color on the walls or where he put his furniture? you want to help make it bettter? fine. join the club and help us out. yelling from outside the fence about how much you dont like the paint on my house won't get you anywhere buddy.
