Alloy USA Gears

So I'm about to make a gear purchase. I've been looking at the Alloy USA's on Northridge for $149.95 in the 4.88 flavor for my D44. I haven't seen much talk on here about them and wanted to see some feedback on the quality and ease of setup. I know most are going to say Spicer, and I agree that Spicer is the best, but I'd like to try to save a few $$ for my locker and axles if I can (I'm on a tight budget.)

They are however probably made by Precision Gear, who Alloy-USA bought several years ago. The odds of having to warranty them are pretty slim.

That said, I'd call a Naxja sponsor to buy. National Drivetrain, or Nitro Gear and Axle.

Ron Stobaugh is now working for Motive (PBB link above). All the good things you ever heard about AlloyUSA were probably because of him. I ordered Motive gears a few weeks ago because of that. They had a good reputation before, but Ron joining the team made up my mind.

I ordered from National Drivetrain. Real nice guy (Eric)... and a good price... just a little slow to ship. I'd order from them again for sure.

Yeah, I've made up my mind. I feel confident in going with Motive Gear. I did a little research last night and I see a lot of Ford Mustang guys use them, no complaints there or come backs.
