Well just my luck. Apparently I've had this set of XJ spicer joints longer than I thought and I can't return them via Amazon prime. So back to my original question or

Anybody want a set of brand new spicer XJ ball joints for what I paid?

No plans to do that. Sometimes strange things roll around in my head. But then again, Why not? I have never change a ball joint in my life but that do not mean I am not curious about them and the option of cross pollination.

All four on my XJ need to be replaced. However, I am looking into replacing the lowers with offset/adjustable ones to add a bit more caster. The XJ sit a bit over 4" now and I do not want to cut and rotate the inner 'C's.

Adjustable balljoints do nothing for castor, they are used to correct/adjust camber.

Correction,

Adjustable ball joints can be used to change both caster and/or camber depending on how they are installed.

Adjustable ball joints can indeed be used for caster degree increase/ decrease.
Even a combination of caster and camber angle can be changed using them.

Classic Volkswagens use a similar design to acheive the caster and camber although it is adjustable while installed.
