mmmmmm SBR.
This was the previous configuration. It is an aero "ghost gun" lower so I made it look like the ghost gun. Should have used a 7" barrel but I had the 11.5" laying around
Edit: this must have been the first time out. Its missing the vfg and front sight

Found a 1926 Win 1897 on armslist and sent the guy an offer.
It's a nice gun from an estate sale. Almost makes me feel bad to cut it up.

Heh we have AR mag adapters in Canada (hical.ca). Now that probably seems silly, but with our ridiculous laws we can only have 5 rounds in a semi rifle or shotgun. Pistols are limited to ten. If a pistol mag fits in a rifle though, it is still able to have ten. There's also the option of a .50 beowulf that will take more than ten, but if ammo other than what it was intended for fits it's also fine if it holds more (that's a little murky though). I suppose that came about as some .40 pistol mags will hold 9mm and function but hold a couple extra.
So we end up using AR mags in damn near everything we can just to get ten rounds. I can get them for an SKS or a VZ 58. It seems pretty silly I know.
Our only advantage is the Russian and Chinese firearms we can so easily get. That and we're one of the only countries to roll back a ridiculous long gun registry.

SKSs can be converted to accept mags pretty easily. I used to have a bunch of SKSs. They were like $85 or $90 each back in the day.

yeah, I'm not playing the duckbill tapco mag BS.
I like junk to be reliable. besides, I still had stripper clips from yugo surplus. It's surprisingly not bad.
sometimes things just show up.
it was a buddy deal. He actually offered it to me for less, but I'd have felt bad taking ot for that little money. $150 is about half of what they were going for, so that's what i gave him.

Is that a 380? I had a cheap 380 that was my dads that was probably about that small (it was a bryco arms 380). As soon as they were 100% mine, I traded that gun in for 200 rounds of 22lr ammo (about all it was worth).

No. That is a Raven .25. But the Bryco is the same basic design. Jennings, bryco, Raven, Davis and a couple others are all extremely similar
