All Things Guns

I have a Kahr I've probably ran 1200 rounds through with no problems at all. Nice, light and little.

I took a spare carbine barrel and turned it down yesterday for my pistol lower. I opened up the gas port to .080 and am waiting on a lopro gas block, gas tube duracoat and for sigtac to get sb15's back in stock. Hopefully I will have it running in the next month.. I like the feel of the gun so much I am debating swapping my jewel trigger over from the rifle.

Shaved the trigger plate to rough shape and checked the fit on the straight lever. Still lots of shaping to do after the bedding, but it's starting to look like a straight lever gun.

I have a long way to go, but I'll get there. Still have to bed the tang, inlay the crescent but plate and do final shaping. The fore end won't take too much time, it's just oversized and needs shaped to the receiver. I've done the wood refinishing on my ww2 stuff but I've never done bedding or carving before.

My two "blem" lowers came in today total investment = $127
Your FFL gave you a deal on multiple transfers, eh?

That's a good perk to get. My FFL here told me they don't typically do deals on transfers until the quantity reaches 5 or more. I just don't see ever ordering 5 lowers at once.

My blem had a couple dings next to the takedown pin hole on the right side. Other than that, it has a great finish.

Hell, if things go the way I'm currently planning, I'll only ever buy one more. ...That sounds kinda sad.

Anyone looking for an IWB holster? I just bought one from alien gear holsters. Cost me $51 shipped and it comes with removable kydex shells so you can swap them out. I picked up one for my pk380 as well. Been wearing it for a few hours now and I forgot I was carrying.

Picked my first hand gun today. Wanted to like the G19 but the finger groves killed it for me, my fingers are just to fat to comfortably hold it. I wanted a compact for conceal carry but also wanted it to be enjoyable to shoot at the range. Liked the way the SR9C felt but once I picked up this CZ P-07 it just felt right. Fits my hand perfectly, grip angle provides a very natural point of aim for me, and the trigger is very nice. Got a decent deal on it too but was just and added bonus.

I shot a friends G26 and I liked it (except the sights were way off). I don't know what I want to carry when I do. I do plan on applying for my lifetime license this month when I get my tax refund.

I had planned on shooting an automatic this weekend in Nashville, TN at an indoor range, but someone on INGO has offered to let me shot his and all I have to do is buy ammo.

Thanks to wedding gifts, Sarah and myself are giving each other some cash to spend however we like. I am putting mine towards what I wasn't going to have to get a Springfield XDs 9mm.

Well I decided to give one of those Alien Gear holsters a try, placed my order yesterday. Also I am already tired of hiking up my pants 100 times a day so I decided to invest in a good gun belt as I am about due for a new belt anyways. Ordered a Daltech Force "Indestructible SuperBIO Belt." I have heard nothing but positive things about these belts and the company is based out of Indiana where these are manufactured as well. http://www.daltechforce.com/

I need a good gun belt too, I'll look into them.

Do you recall about how long it took to receive your holster flex? Just kind of curious.

Took about a month. They were swamped from the holidays. They forgot to send the shell for my walther and I got it in a couple days so I'm guessing they are caught up.
