I'm an idiot. Going to 37's. Here's a preview of what she'll look like (those are John's Krawlers and TRs, he's displaying my 37" MT/Rs at the swap meet).

I think it looks really right, finally fills out those big fender wells. Countdown to HP D44 implosion, commence!

P.S. Lyle's Nikon's ergonomics = fail. What's the deal with the menu maneuver just to shoot in manual or even program mode?
 
Are you going to lose any articulation from 37's? I noticed a difference from 33's to 35's even. FWIW I witnessed a break of HP44 outers from your rig on 35's. Just sayin :)

Yes, I'll lose some uptravel, but flex is over rated anyway. ;)

Yes, I'm going to have to be a little more gentle on the gas. However, I don't think the 37's are going to be that much heavier than my 35" Toyos were. We'll see.

I'd be interested to see if this is true. I've heard those Toyo's weigh a ton.

The 37's look good on there! :cool: IIRC you're going to be running new wheels courtesy of Mr. Evans right? Will they be at the swapmeet?

35" Toyos weighed more than a set of 37" Bias Irok's, over 100 lbs per corner. No wonder they were indestructible. :rolleyes:

The Walker Evans are on back-order, about two weeks out, but the tires are at the ACRO/PNWJeep booth on John's Sublime YJ, along with a set of 35" MT/Rs to check out. Make sure to say 'hi.'

Thats ridiculous.

So are you going to be running the MT/Rs because you can, or because you actually are thinking that they'll do well up here?
