Well I can't give you a recommendation of a place real close to you but Duffy's on Rt. 9 in NoHo (just off 91) does a good job and for pretty cheap. Other than that I've had Town Fair do mine too, the one on King St. (Rts. 5/10) in NoHo, and I've successfully done minor tweaks myself with a tape measure. If it needs a lot of adjustment, that's when I bring it to Duffy's....because one time I F'ed up and ate up some front tires real quick (it was winter time, really cold, did it quick, and didn't notice the tires wearing unevenly because everywhere I parked there was always snow caked in the treads!!
I understand where you're coming from about the speed-kids at town fair. I've heard a few horror stories from friends having performance tires/wheels installed there....but I've had nothing but great experience with town fair. But, jeeps are about as simple as it gets. Nice expensive rice burners are easier to F up, IMO.
