AJs offroad armor..whats the deal

hmm sounds like AJ should hire someone to do all his metal cutting , return phone calls for an hour or two per day even if the lackey doesnt get anything but a answeringmacine/voicemail. As a matter of customer updates.

Also another idea for ya AJ (since you previously liked my idea about posting on your page you collection of bumpers with a best sellers series ... so as not to overwhelm folks) How about a ticker that lets folks know where they are in order.

For many its worth the wait to have hand built to spec, ata good price. Maybe make the wait more publicized so folks are all to aware they are not dealing with WARN who is pumping out tens of thousands of "product x" per week.

Gotta do better communication because i dont think he can really up the value or the quality much at all.

As a business owner myself i understand to well people are price shoppers and in their mind like to compare the small business to mega big boxes etc. They think they can dicker down price ask for freebies and all sorts of junk i know they dont pull when they go to sears or lowes. My point is the labor time of phone calls ADDS UP QUICK. Your price per unit can jump 100% when you the customer expects daily updates. Everyone likes to think they are my only customer .... even if i only work for them 1-4 times per year. Fact of the matter is i have hundreds and hundreds of regular customers in my business, all are important. but no one no matter how insignifcant their own time (retirees for example), how many hours they have a day to squander themselves, those same folks are my most price sensitive and bitch when i raise the price to keep up with inflation. They think as a small business owner when i work at their home thats they only work i do, everything else book keeping, vehicle service, taxes, marketing etc etc .... thats all "FREE"

My experience has not been very good either. I realize that I am ordering from a small operation and not a huge retailer with items in stock, but communication has been terrible. I ordered in April and am still waiting. I did manage to get him on the phone once in June. He had been having major computer issues causing his orders and website forum to crash in flames. So those of you ordering now, just keep that in mind. He is a very nice and knowledeable guy. I have sent E-mails and Voicemails with no response. I know he is busy, but I think I will take my business elsewhere. Not because he has a bad product, but because I would like to receive a product someday. I was willing to wait all summer because I wanted it for Fall and Winter, but I still am empty handed. Those of you who want a bumper fast, order somewhere else. If you want AJ's Product, then be willing to wait. I hear its worth it. Just not for me.
 
I ordered rock rails from him via the phone. His little girl answered the phone and she was very cute (5 or so). I got my sliders very fast and communication was very easy. Guess im just amazing. Sliders are super tough and still beautiful.
