Air Intake Creations!!!!

Alright, I wanna see pictures of everyone's rediculous and sane air intake creations/modifications. Whether it be a snorkel contraption or ram air, or just something simple, lets get everyone to post up their mods so if someone has a question about "well I dunno what I should do w/ my intake" we can tell 'em where to go. Oh, and it'd be a good place to go for ideas too! (Oh, and Direct Exhaust Injection doesn't count, haha).

Here's mine, I just cut out a bigger hole in the front of the box to allow freer flow. It's got a K&N drop in.

I did something very similar, although not quite that big of a hole. I ended up getting another stock one and throwing it in there because every time I hit a decent puddle, i'd find water in the bottom of the air intake, and the filter slightly wet. Didn't want to take that chance anymore...

I am going to buy a AFE intake tube and heat/splash shield. This setup works well but I am going to get a bored TB and want the full intake tube w/ something that look a little better.

I think I'm going to do that and cut up a sunscreen.

I think my stock one works just fine! :)

yeah yeah, but that's too "normal"

I dont think I need to post mine again, haha

no you're good.

It would be cool to see somebody fab up a enclosure that would seal an after market cone filter and put the intake into the fire wall like this; making a high flow underhood snorkle.

:D working on it, just need to grab the plastic welder at work, HDPE to work with. The only part I don't have figured out is how to seal the front with a lid that I can remove for on road use. Similar to what go-jeep did on his site.
