Aftermarket front axle housings

Most KOH rigs will be running 9's with 60 outers. Some are running actually 60's with 60 outers.

That's a fairly vague question with many many possible answers. The answer to your question depends on many different variables. Tire size, gear ratio, hp and torque, terrain....

It is a vague question you're right. I already stated I'm running a built 30. There are numerous axles out there, I want people's opinions. I was set on a 9inch, but there is a lot of other good options. I just want to have options to research and consider. To be honest though, it's looking like a 9inch with 60 outers is going to be the key to success for my build.

Is budget a factory? I think Dynatrac is working on a HPD80 setup..

A 609 also tickles my fancy...

9" rear lp.
Rock jock 70 front.
If rock.

If go fast only the fabricated 9's f&r w 44 outers and 31st front w 35 sp rear.

I'll be following this, because I too am planning to make the jump to 37"s. Not much go fast stuff in the south east, i'm more set up for trail riding/crawling. Thinking 609, but trying to not spend more on fabricated housings than the jeep is worth is difficult.

Ever seen how the JK D44 front housing holds up to abuse? It doesnt really. Even with a truss the tube to housing plug welds fail and fall out and the tubes wallow out the housing. You might get a year or 5 out of it. But I have seen personally a few now on 35's and alum wheels, have this issue, and heard of many more.

Me? Trail series 44. 13.25" brakes, 1350 U-joints, stronger R&P than standard Dana 44, bolts right in to the Full Traction 4 link long arm lift that I also can't afford.
Sounds like you might want more beef than a 44, though.
