According to the Colorado naxja chapter....

maybe I should come armed then
lol
X infinity. If you think you need to pack to a Jeep gathering, this is not the place for you. Maybe the ever famous pipeline is more your flavor......

sir, I am nearly always armed.

not because i feel the need to around you fools, mostly for everyone else. I doubt I'll actually be carrying in the campground, but it's a long drive.

There is a locking metal cabinet in the wienerbox if anyone needs to store their firearm at the campground while we're out wheeling. That's it's express purpose and why it was installed.

please don't leave it in your tent.

perhaps of interest to WF go'ers

From Handgunlaw.us/indiana

Do “No Gun Signs” Have the Force of Law?
“NO”
“Handgunlaw.us highly recommends that you not enter a place that is posted "No Firearms" no matter what the state laws read/mean on signage. We recommend you print out the No Guns = No Money Cards and give one to the owner of the establishment that has the signage." As responsible gun owners and upholders of the 2nd Amendment we should also honor the rights of property owners to control their own property even if we disagree with them.”
“No Firearm” signs in Indiana have no force of law unless they are posted on property that is specifically mentioned in State Law as being off limits to those with a Permit/License to Carry. If you are in a place not specifically mentioned in the law that is posted and they ask you to leave, you must leave. If you refuse to leave then you are breaking the law and can be charged. Even if the property is not posted and you are asked to leave you must leave. Always be aware of the possibility that responding Police Officers who may have been called without your knowledge and may not know the laws on trespass etc. could arrest you even if you are within the law.
From "Indiana Firearm Law Reference Manual 3rd Edition" by Bryan Lee Ciyou, Esq. (Used with Permission)
Retail Establishments With "No Handguns Allowed" Posted at Entry: As a possessor with a real property interest, a retailer, has the right to limit, and qualify the right to enter the property, subject to not carrying a handgun. It would be improper to enter, and the Licensee would be subject to ejection for possession of a handgun thereat. Failure to leave once requested, would subject the Licensee to arrest for criminal trespass.

Blow me BJ :D , I am FAR from it, my point was missed or not communicated correctly (on my part). I simply was trying to get across that if one feels that they NEED to come armed to a Jeep gathering, then there seems to be a preconceived notion that there will be problems. Is packing someones choice or right, hell yes it is. Do I support that right, yes 100%. You know as well as I do that a majority of gun owners that have CC dont want anyone to know about it, and then there are those who flaunt it. Differrent strokes for different folks. The only time anyone will ever know I have a firearm on me is during hunting season, and that is simply bc it is too difficult to hide an O/U in my belt :D Ummm, I mean back when I had guns, I lost all of them in a canoeing accident.

This...and just so you guys know, the new guy is a smartass like us! I've told him we're just giving him a hard time for being the new guy! :D

he's worse than a smart ass.

he's a gun-hating liberal

cheeze says "leave 'em at home"

No, the Libtards are one county west of him! :D now go back to Chitown you crazy Liberal! :moon:

B... I simply was trying to get across that if one feels that they NEED to come armed to a Jeep gathering...

I am still trying to figure out how Troy's harmless comment in the CO Forum turned into a question of gun rights at WF... But that's the internet for Ya.

Besides, unless Smith and Wesson comes out with some new fancy weapon which will also serve as a high-lift and/or winch, I don't see the point ;)

Regardless of the unofficial motto (which I have noticed is frequently applied on-line without prejudice) folks who belong to this Club, are good people.
I believe that unless the OP pisses on the campfire, he has nothing to fear :D

i would say that with the size fire at WF, pissing on it would still do no harm.

now pissing on one of the pass around bottles, well that's a different story...

I believe that unless the OP pisses on the campfire, he has nothing to fear :D

Piss on a Jeep hood, you'll probably cause people to laugh. Piss on the fire......YOU MUST DIEEEEEE! :D

Throw all the guns in the fire and drive a tank over it, I will video tape it and send it out over the world wide web (my LIBERAL buddy Al Gore invented it ya know?) and me and my gun hating liberal friends will sit back with our free goverment cell phones and talk about it and stream it until we are out of minutes, then we will go to the grocery store with our welfare card to get stocked up on frozen pizzas and poptarts and go back to our government funded home and eat those pizzas and poptarts while not looking for a job....simply becasue we all hate guns and are afraid to go look for a job in fear of getting gunned down by all the gun crazies.....hmmm, why dont they make bacon and cheese flavored poparts?

Cheese "and the skies will rain fire and guns will disappear " Man

My sarcasm sense is tingling but i cant be sure you are not speaking the truth...

sarcasm on all accounts..except the flavored poptarts....I am always serious about food.

So I happen to have "We Eat Our Own" across the A-line on the Heep... I get mixed comments on it from 'Cool' and 'Funny' to 'D!cks?' and other vulgar ideas... I think its funny...
