I know its too late this year but maybe next year would any of ya'll be interested in finding a way to help the less fortunate?
Having a benefit event would be good but can limit the fund-raising. What about a bunch of rigs meeting up at a parking lot next to a heavily traveled intersection and have an inpromptu truck show asking for donations for maybe Toys for Tots or local food banks. Me, living closer to Dallas, around Beltline in Addison or Cooper in Alington comes to mind. This would be a good way get some positive advertisement out about the club, the sport and future events.
I know we could get more participation if we invite other Jeep or 4x4 clubs. Which would be fine cause its about helping others and not ourselves. Seeing 20-30 different 4x4 rigs sitting together would hopefully draw some folks willing to donate some spare money for a good cause.
So, any thoughts from others?
