My dash in the MJ is ripped so ill be using the xj dash. doors are all crank windows so that doesn't matter. Im keeping the column shift so I cant use the steering wheel. going to swap the wiper stalks and that's all that really changes. Will be using all XJ electronics

It has an odd gauge cluster.
full gauges, but no tach. Not really a big deal since you're auto.

I should have it early march.
It's @ shortxjdoug's house. He finds me rust free MJs and is trying to destroy my marriage with them.

BAHAHA my after what happened to my XJ I told my woman about the MJ and she was just like "no"... welp that didn't stop me so I just have everything I buy shipped to work now :clap:

Is it a renix cluster? I need a fuel gauge so my tank reads right. Let me know if you come across a decent black tailgate. any leads I get on those never call back or fall thorugh, but thanks man!

I don't sell clean tailgates. They go into the random jeep parts room in my basement.

and ya.. you and everyone else lol the previous owner has the tailgate for this truck. wants to make a table out of it.. wont even sell it to me

My buddy scrapped a ZJ today and I stole the booster off it quick before that so now I can justify getting rid of the load sensing valve in the rear. I ordered some of the metal tow mirror looking mirrors yesterday as well. have done some work recently just no pictars.. just reassembly at this point. will have pics next go round!

No huge updates but all the wiring is back in. Heater core with the evaporator is installed. That was a treat to get that in.. Finished the floors. Decided that I'm going to put 2x6 steel in for the rockers to fix the rust and have sliders. Hopefully going to get the interior tied up next week and and get the motor in and axles swapped. Doesn't feel like it but it is coming together

does the rear proportioning valve still work?

if so, don't destroy it pulling it. I would like to has it.

I was just guna use am adhesive promoter and use spray paint.

Did a little wiring tonight. Finished one part of the HO dash to renix rear harness but then ran out of butane.. I currently lack the motivation to go down stairs to get more so I'm done for tonight

Also I decided today I'm going with 35" tires instead of 33's. The Mj was a 2wd 2.5 so it has 4.56's which will work for the 35's. So if anyone has a 4.56 gear set for a d30 pm me.

unfortunately I bought the rig as a roller so I have no idea what happened to that setup

Finally got a some time to work on it. Front end is mostly back together with the d30 in it now. Have to do some more wiring to adapt the column shifter column so the ho harness.

And hopefully what it'll look like when its done

Busted ass last night. Pulled the entire driveline in an hour and a half lol

Pulled the exhaust manifold.. my old one was hardly attached lol guess that was my exhaust leak lol I'm going to transfer fuel lines and stuff while the engines out. My tcase is pissing fluid out the output seal so I may as well fix that too. Need to get an o2 sensor as well.
