Thanks for the links. Might do that mod in the future. Yeah, I think the 97-01's have more rounded corners compared to the older style XJ's. I'm beginning to save up money now to get a chris-tuned ECU for my birthday which is eight months from now. Recently, I had to replace the radiator and service the rear drum brakes. I'm currently waiting for my new battery temperature sensor.
There he is selling a new ECU. You just have to give him your vin # and your mod list so he can tune it according to what you have. Here's an old thread about jeep 4.0 ECM. I first read about Chris there.
sidewaysstarion and talyn have their ECU tuned by Chris. The ebay ad is for 96-98, but he can also tune the newer JTEC computers. Talyn's XJ is a 2000 with a 4.6 stroker.
