'99 XJ vibes, SYE

Ok, I've done some searching and I have to ask...
'99 XJ with rusty's (supposedly 3" spring pack), it's more like 4"+. I've had it over one year now, and I'm sick of the vibes. 1" TC drop, rear axle shimmed.

I'm looking at the RE1807 SYE kit with the RE1898 CV driveshaft.
Has anyone had experience with this setup, and if so what will I need besides the SYE kit and the driveshaft?

Is there a better way to go? Is there a cheaper way to go? I'm on a limited budget. As is, this option is going to be $300+...

i have a `99 with the rusty`s 3 inch......a little bigger i agree........how much have yours settled.......i`ve had mine on for 1 month.....1000 miles and i am still 1 1/2" higher in the rear ......i did the tran drop and used a two degree shim...still vibrates a little when accelerating.what shim did you use....i was planning on the tom woods $400.00 sye and driveshaft........if you have any luck with the re setup let me know........i am planning on adding the 1 3/4 spacers up front and possibly a shackle in the rear

Settling... none that I can tell. I've loaded the thing down, taken it off road and beat it up, etc. and I don't see any settling, which is good in a way, but I was hoping it would settle some as the rear was noticeably higher than the front. I put in 3/4" spacers in the front about 3 months ago. That leveled it up a good bit, but I still have the vibes, and I was hoping that it was settle in the rear some to make those go away.
If I set SYE up, I'll re-post and let you know how it went.

Um, Scott, if you haven't, take a minute and put a tape measure to the front and rear of your front tire. I've heard more horror stories (including mine) about the vibes, until they did a wheel alignment.

It is VERY easy. measure with the lead of the tape against one tire and the back of the tape housing against the other. The front measurement (at the same point on the tire) should be 1/16th to 1/8th inch closer than the rear measurement. If it is not, loosen both of the clamps on your tie rod, and rotate it until your measurements are right. It should take less than 15 minutes.

Lifting can have a big effect on your toe-in, which can cause some interesting wheel vibes, and some funny tracking issues.

Or, you have already attended to this and then, nevermind!

I'm running the Advance Adapters kit in my 98, with a custom made shaft, made out of my old shaft...i'm up in canada, so i paid about 10 x what you guys pay, so any price down there sounds like a deal. I've had no vibes whatsoever, but i got my alignment done by a guy that specializes in straightening frames and doing alignments on stuff that's been beat to sh*t, so i thing the main thing is finding someone that specializes in this stuff, if you can't get it to work on your own...

All of us run the RE H&T on our junk. My wife's XJ has it and runs on 33" MT/R's. Dirk (www.dpgoffroad.com) has it on his 97 with 35" MT/R's, and Alex (pair8hd) is running on 37" MT/R's. We run our stuff pretty hard, as well as several others we wheel with that have the RE H&T setup, and I have yet to see one break. I think Alex has broken everything on his XJ except the H&T.
For an inexpensive and easy to install SYE, the hack and tap is great.

I am buying the JB Converisons HD SYE today. It is onsale for $199, you can't beat that. The Super Short is also onsale, but that extra $100 can be put towards the driveshaft. And for another $225, you can add a Spicer CV Driveshaft.
