99 mecury sable OHV v6 automatic(recent rebuild).
My moms sable has a weird hesitation/miss/bogging down that I have been trying to figure out. It usually happens when it's hot after being driven for over 30 minutes plus. When coming from a dead stop, when you start accelerating it feels almost like the transmission is slipping and then catches again and drives fine after that. The RPM drops so I don't think it's the transmission aside from it being recently rebuild and it's done it since before the rebuild. The hesitation last maybe 1-3 seconds, while it's doing it you can put the pedal to the floor with no change before it sorts itself out and then it's fine. I really hate trying to describe this sort of thing.
I have a hard time reproducing it since it only happens after long drives. Any clues where to first start. I just replaced the o2 sensor because it was throwing a code for those but it still does it and as far as I know there are no current codes. Spark plugs and wires I put in recent also.
