99 explorer axle

I have a 99 jeep cherokee with the 4.0L. automatic 4.5" lift and was curious if i could take the axel from a 99 explorer with the 4:10 gear set up. I have the ability to grind and weld but would like to as little as possible any ideas or tips would be great thanks guys.

You will need to move the spring mounts & shock mounts, no way around it. I think you need to adapt the U-joint as well.
